Privacy Please

I've been struggling with this post for a few days, and all that worry hasn't made it one bit easier to write. So, I'll just start at the beginning.

Years ago when I first started this blog, I uploaded pictures to an online sharing site instead of loading them directly into posts. It escapes me if I chose to do this because it was easier, the only option, or if I didn't know how to do it any other way. Regardless, I ran into some problems that left me gun shy for a couple of months. But, I decided that the Bad Guys don't get to win when I'm writing the script. And so, I forged ahead with a newly cautious eye and a less naïve point of view.

The other night, I was scrolling through the stat counter and noticed some disturbing information. Somehow, this blog has been linked to a pretty disturbing, extremely pornographic website. I've been having visitors from places in the world where no one should know me or my family, and some of those places are notorious for crimes related to the Internet.

As much as it saddens me (and angers me), it is time for me to make this blog private. The only reason I have is that I cannot let my compulsive oversharing in any way endanger my children.
